Kate Woods (neé Johnson)
Kate is a Mid-Atlantic professional… In the US, she learnt the value of excellent client service and that research and innovation needs to be compelling and engaging for clients and consumers. In the UK, she learnt the importance of analysis and insight.
She has experience in a variety of categories – FMCG, Alcoholic Beverages, Financial Services and Technology for a variety of clients. A dual US/UK citizen, she specializes in research and innovation on both sides of the Atlantic.
Kate has a passion for helping clients be more creative and getting them closer to their consumer. She has spent the last 8 years specializing in innovation techniques and facilitation, collaborating with clients on successfully developing insight, brand positioning and new products.
Kate has a degree in History of Art from the University of Kansas.

Richard Woods
Richard has worked in consumer research and marketing for the past 20 years. At marketing consultancy New Solutions, as Managing Director of Research and Creativity, he learnt how to use innovative research techniques to position brands and develop new product ideas. At the Henley Centre, as Editor of the ‘Planning for Social Change’ programme he learnt the importance of the wider social context when understanding brands and consumers. At BT, as Head of Brand Strategy, he learnt how to develop service brands and bring about change in large organizations.
Richard has degrees in Modern History, Sociology, Psychology, Photography and Photojournalism.
