“I come from a country that raises corn and cotton, cockleburs and Democrats, and frothy eloquence neither convinces nor satisfies me. I’m from Missouri, and you have got to show me.”
1899 speech by Missouri Congressman
Willard Vandiver
What we believe
Show Me the consumer:
We believe it is the duty of the researcher to bring the consumer to life. You cannot create a good strategy for your brand and your business if you have not got under the skin of your consumer.
Show Me the context:
Conventional research is about getting psychological phenomena such as perceptions, attitudes and beliefs out of people’s heads. Cultural analysis is about asking how things got into people’s heads in the first place. We believe both are needed.
Show Me the inspiration:
If you want real creativity, you must go to people who are creative for a living. We know how to unleash the imagination of Creative Consumers – theatre directors, furniture designers, journalists, novelists, actors, set designers, painters, sculptors, etc. and apply their inspiration to our clients’ brands and businesses. We have built a panel of Creative Consumers: we hand select appropriate people for each project whose experiences and passions are relevant to the brand or business under consideration.
Show Me the answer:
We believe good research and innovation is about coming up with insightful and creative ideas and getting to the answer not just collecting information.
Show Me the experience:
Why should clients have to pay the overheads for an expensive office and a team of support people and juniors when they can go directly to professionals with over 15 years’ direct experience?
